The cold dessert of the Indian Himalayas stores enchanting stretches of places, one of them is Spiti - "the middle land". This hideout in mountains is just the perfect place for a week's getaway, known for its uncanny similarity to Ladakh, travelers often take the Spiti tour as an affordable substitute for the former. Even so, Spiti is not merely a replica of Ladakh, the place has much more to offer. We will begin our journey from Shimla cover Kinnaur Valley and head towards Spiti. In Spiti, we will explore - Nako, Hikkim, Kaza, and so on. After that, we will head towards Manali and depart back from the town. It will be a 7 days trip and will cover a maximum of places in the valley. Read our itinerary for details.
Day 1: Shimla to Sangla
We will assemble in Shimla and start the journey early in the morning. We will travel via the Rampur route and reach Sangla in 8-9 hours. You will check in your accommodation and rest.
Day 2 : Sangla - Chitkul - Kalpa
The second day will be exploring Chitkul and Kalpa. We will be visiting the most stunning places studded with remarkable views of mother nature, Kinnaur point with its thrilling height and panoramic view, dazzling banks of river Baspa, uncountable freshwater streams drizzling down on roads, and of course, enjoying maggie and tea in the last village on Indo-Tibetan border, also you don’t want to miss out on sunset overlooking the heights of the Kinnar Kailash.
Day 3 : Kalpa - Nako - Gyu - Tabo
We will begin our journey towards Nako on the third day. In the route, we will stop by Nako lake small beautiful reservoir of water in the seclusion of the mountains that will make you feel as if you are in heaven, then we will stop by the famous Tabo monastery where Dalai Lama wishes to retire to given its pristine serenity and significance. Finally, we will reach Tabo in 8-9 hours.
Day 4: Tabo - pin valley - Kaza
On day fourth we will travel towards Kaza, but wait we won’t proceed further unless we visit the green lands of Pin Valley, famous for its renowned wildlife, keep your eyes open, you may also spot the endangered snow leopard there. We will reach Kaza by the day.
Day 5 : Kaza - Komik - Langza - Hikkim - Key - Kibber - Kaza
The next day will be for exploring Kaza and nearby places. We will start from Komik, well known for Namgyal Tsemo Monastery, legend has it that this monastery has future Maitreya Buddha, then reachLangza known for its beautiful Buddha Statue, make a stop at the world’s highest post office in Hikkim, and then head towards the famous Key Monastery, which is often displayed as the face of Spiti. The last stop will be at beautiful Kibber village sitting at the altitude of 4270m and then back to Kaza.
Day 6 : Kaza - Losar - Kunzum Pass - ChandraTaal Lake
On the 6th day, we will bid our goodbyes to Kaza and head towards Chandertal Lake. In between, we will make a stop at Losar village, located at the banks of the Spiti river, make our way through Kunzum Pass and reach the mesmerizing Chandra Taal. At the lake, you will enjoy your stay in classic swiss camps and enjoy the surroundings to the fullest.
Day 7 : Chandra Taal to Manali
The next day we will head toward the majestic town of Manali. We will pass Via Batal a small village in Spiti Lauhal Valley, then to Chatru and Gramphu both villages en route to Manali. We will reach Manali in8-9 hours.
Day 8: Manali Departure
On this day you can rest and explore the beautiful Manali and then depart back in the evening.

The amount is not refundable, but in case of cancellation, amount will be charged by the company in following manner -
1. before 30 days - 25% of balance will be charged as cancellation fee.
2. before 30-15 days - 40% of balance
3. berfore 14 - 7 days - 80% of balance.
4. before 6-3 days - 90% of balance.
5. before 2-0 days - 100% of balance.
If you wish to prepone/postpone the dates, you need to inform us 30 days prior the journey date. This is applicable only in the case of private tours.
